The ideal candidate will possess:
- Valid TX license

- ARRT advanced certification in Mammography or MQSA qualification
- Up-to-date continuing education as mandated by MQSA and ARRT
- Preferred experience in Mammography
- Familiarity with RIS/PACS software and eRad
- Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies
- Prior quality control experience is a plus
- Open to candidates with less than 2 years of experience and first-time travelers
- Ability to comprehend medical terminology
- Capacity to stand for extended periods
- COVID-19 and Flu Vaccine status: Unknown
The Mammography Technologist is responsible for operating x-ray equipment and conducting various mammography-related diagnostic procedures. A high level of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique is essential. This role is vital to delivering exceptional care and efficient results, thereby influencing both the organization’s profitability and the patient experience.
Essential Skills- Digital Mammography: Required
- 3D Mammography: Required
- Two years of Mammography experience preferred
- Knowledge of database software, RIS/PACS, and eRad preferred
- Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies preferred
- Quality control experience preferred
- BLS certification
- Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography
- ARRT advanced certification in Mammography or MQSA qualification
- Non-restricted licensure in the state of employment
