Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Radiology department's services, ensuring efficient workflow and quality control.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality control testing.
  • Provide guidance and support to department staff, including orientation, training, and coaching.
  • Contribute to staff performance evaluations and ensure compliance with regulatory agency standards.
  • Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.

Requirements:

  • Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) required.
  • Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) required.
  • NMTCB(CT) Computed Tomography Specialty Certification or ARRT(CT) Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography required.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
