We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at CodeForce. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for operating radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
- Operate radiologic equipment, adjusting controls to set exposure time and distance according to examination specifications.
- Position radiologic equipment and use radiation safety measures to protect patients and team members.
- Ensure radiologic equipment remains in working order and report malfunctions to the Radiology Manager.
- Perform related administrative duties, including scheduling patients, placing orders, and maintaining radiologic supplies.
- Troubleshoot issues related to patient accounts, orders, exams, and prior imaging.
- Perform EKG tests, DEXA scans, and CT scans independently and proficiently.
- Demonstrate knowledge and compliance with facility-wide and departmental policies and procedures.
- Exhibit flexibility in response to changing work situations and rotate through the call schedule according to departmental needs.
- Graduate of an approved training institution.
- Approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and BLS Certification current.
- Working knowledge of CT exam performance.
This is a day shift position with rotating on-call schedule, including weekly weeknight coverage and monthly weekend coverage.
