Position Overview

The **Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer** plays a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiencies by applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies. This position involves evaluating and refining existing processes within the organization to identify inefficiencies and implement strategic improvements. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with various internal teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement across the company.


Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with business leaders to define and track key performance indicators, including productivity, capacity, and delivery metrics.
  • Utilize analytical tools to assess data and business processes, contributing to project updates and status reports.
  • Oversee Continuous Improvement projects, managing timelines, resources, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to enhance operational processes and reduce waste.
  • Lead multiple CI initiatives simultaneously, demonstrating effective communication and adaptability to changing project needs.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure efficient production practices and develop waste reduction strategies.
  • Conduct audits of existing processes and proactively recommend enhancements to meet production and financial goals.
  • Support the organization in achieving broader strategic objectives related to operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Leverage insights from various manufacturing locations to drive collaborative lean initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, or Manufacturing) or a related technical field; an MBA is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a Continuous Improvement role, with a strong background in Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Certification as a Green Belt or Black Belt is preferred, with the ability to achieve Black Belt certification within one year if not already certified.
  • Proven experience in data analysis and leading cross-functional teams, with a focus on aligning initiatives with business objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to present findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders.
