Community Health Outreach Coordinator, East Texas Region, UT Southwestern Medical Center

UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Community Health Outreach Coordinator to join the Moncrief Cancer Center team. As a key member of our outreach team, you will play a crucial role in advancing preventative healthcare initiatives and promoting early detection strategies within the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with outreach endeavors for cancer screening programs, focusing primarily on colorectal cancer screening in East Texas.
- Maintain community data and contact information for the catchment area.
- Develop and maintain tracking systems for community outreach and metrics.
- Deliver informational/educational programs for patients, family members, and/or the public.
- Assist in building and maintaining collaborative working relationships with healthcare providers and other community partners.
- Support and assist with patient recruitment for community outreach programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in pre-health or public health related field.
- 4 years of related experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.
- Ability to be patient-focused and comfortable with presenting/public speaking.
