Mobile Clinic Driver Job Summary
UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a skilled Mobile Clinic Driver to join our team. As a Mobile Clinic Driver, you will be responsible for operating a commercial vehicle to transport a mobile clinic throughout the North and Central Texas regions.
Responsibilities
- Drive to and from events safely, conducting pre-event inspections to identify potential obstacles.
- Evaluate event sites to determine the safest and most accessible parking location, considering staff safety, restroom accessibility, and site restrictions.
- Prepare post-event paperwork and distribute to coordinating staff prior to the event.
- Oversee regular maintenance of state vehicles, including monitoring fuel levels and performing state inspections.
- Maintain required records for all vehicles, including fuel/maintenance receipts and vehicle mileage.
- Ensure the clinic interior is ready for events, including turning on equipment and maintaining cleaning supplies.
- Support event marketing efforts by preparing promotional materials and assisting with patient check-in and paperwork.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 2 years of experience operating a commercial vehicle (tractor-trailer, 18-wheeler, or similar).
- Current Texas Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL).
