Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Process Engineer to join our dynamic team at Re:Build Manufacturing. As a General Assembly Process Engineer, you will play a critical role in optimizing our assembly line processes to increase productivity and reduce costs.

About the Role
  • Process Optimization: Analyze and evaluate existing assembly processes to identify areas for improvement and develop efficient assembly procedures and workflows.
  • Manufacturing Expertise: Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure manufacturability of products and provide technical expertise and support for assembly line setup and production.
  • Automation and Efficiency: Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline assembly processes and conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for process improvement projects.
  • Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control measures to meet product specifications and collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
  • Documentation and Communication: Document and maintain detailed process documentation, including standard operating procedures, and collaborate with suppliers to ensure the availability of necessary materials and equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering field. Master's Degree is a plus.
  • Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing or assembly environment, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Skills: In-depth knowledge of general assembly processes and manufacturing best practices, experience with process optimization and efficiency improvement, and knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
