Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at ITW Food Equipment Group. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and repairing equipment according to work instructions, blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and repair equipment using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments
  • Read and understand wiring schematics to wire machines complete from point to point
  • Perform visual inspections of equipment parts for defects related to the fit, form, or function
  • Work within a team environment to execute weekly production schedules that are measured for productivity
  • Provide instruction/training for others on assembly products and processes
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
  • Previous assembly experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
  • Prolonged periods standing/sitting and performing repetitive tasks
