Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Coordinator to join our team at Kadlec Regional Medical Center. This role is responsible for processing patient records, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining accurate health information.

Responsibilities:
  • Process patient records in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date health information
  • Routinely review and update medical records to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
  • Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless communication and care coordination
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management or related field
  • Minimum 1 year experience in medical records or health information management
  • Strong knowledge of electronic health record systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree in Health Information Technology or related field
  • 2+ years experience in medical records or health information management
  • Certification in Health Information Management (RHIA) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
