Cleaning Services Attendant

- Prepare and organize the supply cart with necessary cleaning materials for the shift.
- Thoroughly clean guest accommodations, which include tasks such as stripping and remaking beds, disposing of waste, polishing mirrors, dusting surfaces, and sanitizing bathrooms.
- Restock guest rooms and bathrooms with essential amenities, linens, and towels.
- Evaluate rooms for any maintenance needs or malfunctioning fixtures.
- Communicate repair or maintenance requests to the supervisor.
- Update the front desk on the status of rooms after completing each one.
- At the end of the shift, return the cart and supplies to storage and dispose of trash.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned.
The physical requirements outlined here are representative of those that must be fulfilled by an employee to effectively execute the essential functions of this position. While performing the responsibilities of this role, the employee is frequently required to stand, bend, reach with arms and hands, kneel, and must be capable of lifting a minimum of 25 pounds.
Education / Training / Experience
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience is not necessary.
Skills and Abilities
- Capable of reading, analyzing, and interpreting standard documentation.
- Able to respond to common inquiries or concerns from team members or regulatory bodies.
- Proficient in writing and presenting information to management in a clear and concise manner.
