Regional Sales Manager

As a Regional Sales Manager at II-VI Incorporated - Warrendale, you will be responsible for creating and executing a sales revenue growth strategy that drives business success. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and execute a sales revenue growth strategy that aligns with company goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners and customers.
- Support field sales representatives as needed to create custom part numbers and drive sales growth.
- Partner with Regional Sales Managers to support large revenue opportunities and drive business success.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree.
- Proven sales experience in the distribution industry, with a strong track record of driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in Oracle and Salesforce or equivalent database management systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
Working Conditions:
- Remote work environment, with occasional travel required (up to 30% of work time).
- Must be willing to work from home and work in off-hours to communicate with Asia or respond to customer urgent requests.
Quality and Environmental Responsibilities:
- Depending on location, this position may be responsible for the execution and maintenance of the ISO 9000, 9001, 14001 and/or other applicable standards that may apply to the relevant roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
