Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Perform on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and interruptions.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot equipment problems, identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and reports, as required, to ensure compliance and transparency.
  • Customer Interface: Coordinate activities with peers, supervisors, and customers to ensure seamless communication and minimize equipment downtime.
  • Parts Management: Order and install parts as needed, ensuring timely and efficient equipment maintenance.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency service calls as required, providing prompt and effective support.
  • Training and Development: Instruct customer operating technicians on system operation and maintenance, ensuring they are equipped to handle equipment effectively.
  • Equipment Upgrades: Perform upgrades and modifications to equipment as needed, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Professional Development: Remain current on equipment and tools through appropriate training, manuals, factory periodicals, and other relevant materials.
  • Company Property Maintenance: Ensure the upkeep, maintenance, and security of company property, including vehicles and tools.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associates degree in electronics, engineering, or other applicable field of study, or military experience in lieu of degree.
  • Experience: Previous experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment.
  • Etch Experience: Experience in etch-related equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Customer Interface Skills: Excellent customer interface skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and peers.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Strong mechanical aptitude, with the ability to use appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Thorough understanding of technical issues involving the maintenance, repair, and/or installation of company equipment and company procedures.
