Job Title: Bilingual Registered Nurse

University of New Mexico - Hospitals is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Bilingual RN, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our diverse patient population.

Job Summary:

The Bilingual Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documentation of patient care and progress.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of New Mexico or eligibility for licensure.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Certification in a specialty area, such as pediatrics or gerontology.
