Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients, working within the nursing process to ensure safe and effective care.
  • Assume clinical leadership roles, providing guidance and support to other staff members and assuming relief charge duties when designated.
  • Participate in orientation and precepting new personnel, enhancing your professional growth and development.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement and document individualized care plans, incorporating age-specific considerations and discharge planning.
  • Administer medication, including IV medication, via the Seven Rights, and document and communicate clinical findings.
  • Maintain a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients and families, adhering to Hospitals standards.
Requirements
  • Essential: Program Graduate, Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate, RN in NM or reciprocal agreement, CPR for Healthcare/BLS Prov or Prof Rescuers within 30 days.
  • Nonessential: Bachelor's Degree, Bilingual English/Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo.
