We are seeking a skilled Sourcing Professional to join our Procurement Department in Sugarland, TX. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing merchandise, commodities, and/or services to support our Sales, Manufacturing, and Operations organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sources and purchases merchandise, commodities, and/or services to support business requirements.
  • Creates and maintains accurate records of purchase orders, including changes and confirmations.
  • Transmits purchase orders, changes, and instructions to suppliers in a timely manner.
  • Updates purchase orders with relevant details, such as delivery dates, ship dates, and tracking numbers.
  • Expedites orders as necessary to meet business requirements.
  • Processes assigned requisitions efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitors reorder point parts and orders as needed to ensure optimal inventory levels.
  • Requests quotes from suppliers and selects suitable suppliers for ROP and requisitioned items.
  • Enters new or updated supplier information in MAX and eSynergy systems.
  • Maintains accurate supplier part data in MAX, including pricing and vendor P/N information.
  • Participates in supplier negotiations to secure better pricing, delivery terms, and support.
  • Collaborates with new suppliers to qualify them for future business opportunities.
  • Attends production meetings to provide material updates and support.
  • Assists in the processing of non-conforming material reports, including RMA acquisition, NCR replacement expediting, and negative receipt updates.
  • Supports accounting in resolving pricing, freight, and delivery issues, as well as receiving in resolving receiving issues.
  • Assists other departments in resolving supplier-related issues.
  • Acts as a backup to the Material Planner as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in procurement, manufacturing environment, product management, and supplier management.
