PRO ABA Services is in search of dedicated Mobile Therapists (MT) to deliver Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) to children and adolescents in various environments, including home, school, and community.

Position Details:

  • Location: Warrior Run, PA
  • Schedule: Part-time or per diem
  • Caseload: Ages 3-21

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Available positions as W2 employees or 1099 Independent Contractors

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee therapeutic support plans for students facing mental health challenges.
  • Consult with families, schools, and community members involved in the care of the students.
  • Assess the needs of referred students and families, providing referrals to additional services as necessary.
  • Offer crisis intervention and counseling to students experiencing emotional distress.
  • Facilitate both group and individual counseling sessions as required.
  • Conduct assessments and create behavior or crisis intervention plans, monitoring their effectiveness.
  • Engage in the Student Assistance Program (SAP) as needed.
  • Maintain communication with families and educational staff to ensure effective collaboration and intervention.

Qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in a relevant field such as psychology, social work, education, or counseling is required, along with one of the following:
    • A valid license as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, or clinical social worker
    • A social worker or behavior specialist license with a graduate degree that included a clinical or mental health practicum
    • A minimum of one year of full-time experience providing mental health services to children, youth, or young adults, with at least nine credits in clinical practice
    • Completion of a clinical or mental health practicum with at least nine credits in a relevant field.
  • Current clearances (obtained within the last six months)
