Position Details:

  • Location: Warrior Run, PA

Role Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and oversee therapeutic support plans for students facing mental health challenges.
  • Consult with families, educational staff, and community members involved in the care of the students.
  • Evaluate referred students and families to identify needs and facilitate referrals to additional services as necessary.
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling for students experiencing emotional distress.
  • Conduct both group and individual counseling sessions as required.
  • Perform assessments and create behavior or crisis intervention plans, as needed.
  • Engage in the Student Assistance Program (SAP) when necessary.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with families and educational personnel to ensure effective collaboration and appropriate interventions.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in a relevant field such as psychology, social work, education, or counseling is mandatory, along with one of the following:
    • A valid license as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, or clinical social worker
    • A license as a social worker or behavior specialist with a graduate degree that included a clinical or mental health direct service practicum
    • A minimum of one year of full-time experience providing mental health services to children, youth, or young adults, with at least nine credits in clinical practice
    • Completion of a clinical or mental health direct service practicum with at least nine credits in relevant fields.
  • Current clearances (obtained within the last six months)
