Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Perform Inspections and Repairs: Conduct thorough inspections of RV systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural components, to identify and repair any issues.
  • Troubleshoot Complex Issues: Use your technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections: Ensure RVs meet quality and safety standards before delivery to customers by conducting pre-delivery inspections (PDIs).
  • Document Work Performed: Accurately document all work performed, including parts used and labor time, in our service management system.
  • Communicate with Customers: Provide detailed explanations of repairs and maintenance work to service advisors and customers.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Standards: Maintain knowledge of industry standards, manufacturer guidelines, and technical bulletins to ensure our customers receive the best possible service.
  • Maintain a Clean and Organized Work Area: Ensure tools and equipment are in good working condition and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Adhere to Safety Protocols: Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Strong Knowledge of RV Systems: Possess a strong understanding of RV systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical components.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical information to non-technical customers.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Education and Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications are a plus.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Industry Certifications: RVIA/RVDA certification or other relevant industry certifications (preferred).
  • Computerized Diagnostic Tools: Experience with computerized diagnostic tools and software (preferred).
  • Warranty Repair Processes: Familiarity with warranty repair processes and documentation (preferred).
