Why Your Role is Important
As the representative of VCA, the Customer Care Specialist establishes the atmosphere for the practice, fostering trust and confidence among our clients. This role is essential to the smooth operation of the hospital and includes:
- Customer service responsibilities, such as welcoming visitors, managing phone calls, and directing clients and their pets to examination rooms, presenting estimates, etc.
- Keeping clients informed about their pet's visit
- Coordinating and confirming appointments
- Presenting and clarifying fees, including processing payments
- Collecting records from referring Primary Care Veterinarians
- Handling phone calls, texts, and emails
- Managing electronic medical records (EMR), reports, and correspondence
- Maintaining the hospital environment (including the removal of animal waste) and ensuring that the facility is tidy and organized at all times, both inside and outside.
- Availability to work weekends and some holidays
Compensation: The pay range for this position is $18.00 to $21.00 per hour.
