About the Job:

The Salvation Army Eastern Territory is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Safety Coordinator to join our team. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an individual who shares our passion for creating a safe and welcoming environment. As a Community Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring house rules that promote resident conduct, fire safety, and room conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure resident safety and well-being.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and monitor fire safety measures.
  • Collaborate with staff to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive living environment.
  • Provide support and guidance to residents on household rules and expectations.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You should have a strong understanding of safety protocols and be able to analyze situations and make sound judgments.
