Position Summary:
The Manager of Client Relations and Operations plays a crucial role in our freight brokerage services. This position is pivotal in collaborating with management to enhance revenue growth, deliver outstanding customer service, and ensure client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of account managers and customer service professionals, providing ongoing training and support to foster high performance.
  • Set clear performance goals for the team, monitor progress, and offer regular feedback to encourage continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as the primary contact for strategic accounts.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and proactively address concerns.
  • Drive revenue growth by expanding existing client relationships and identifying opportunities for additional services.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create strategies for acquiring new clients and entering new markets.
  • Ensure operational efficiency by adhering to company policies, including contract management and service level agreements.
  • Implement best practices to streamline workflows and enhance the overall customer experience.

Supervisory Duties:
  • Oversee the Account Management and Customer Service teams, delegating tasks as necessary.
  • Conduct performance assessments and participate in hiring decisions.
  • Maintain a positive work environment and ensure compliance with company policies.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3 years of experience in transportation operations or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in Account Management, preferably in Domestic Freight Brokerage.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Work Environment:
This position is primarily office-based, with minimal exposure to hazardous conditions. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

Compensation:
The expected base pay for this role ranges from $62,500 to $84,500 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
