We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at Government Jobs. As a Secondary Roads Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy and light equipment used in the construction and maintenance of Secondary Roads.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a variety of heavy and light equipment, including but not limited to, bulldozers, graders, and excavators.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Assist in the performance of duties as a laborer or any other work and/or duties pertinent to the position.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
As a Secondary Roads Maintenance Specialist, you will be working in a dynamic and challenging environment. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, and for performing duties in accordance with State and County standards.
Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
