Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a variety of heavy and light equipment, including but not limited to, bulldozers, graders, and excavators.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Assist in the performance of duties as a laborer or any other work and/or duties pertinent to the position.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Work Environment

As a Secondary Roads Maintenance Specialist, you will be working in a dynamic and challenging environment. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, and for performing duties in accordance with State and County standards.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
