Medical Screener Assistant

**Job Overview**
Candidates for the Medical Screener position at CSL Plasma will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, greeting donors and conducting registration procedures to ensure donor suitability.
**Responsibilities**
We are seeking individuals who can assist qualified donors in completing the screening process, including assessing self-administered health history, answering basic medical questions, and referring donors to medical staff when necessary.
As a Medical Screener, you will be responsible for performing health screening procedures such as blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature, and finger sticks to obtain hematocrit and total protein levels.
Additionally, you may be required to educate new donors on the use of therapeutic products made from donated plasma, explaining the screening process, health screening tests, appointment system, donation fees, center policies, proper nutrition, and other pertinent information.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of three months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in a medical or health provider environment
- Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions
- Able to see and speak with customers and observe equipment operation
