Job Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Commercial HVAC Service Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing routine inspections of HVAC systems to guarantee optimal functionality.
  • Identifying system issues and executing necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Troubleshooting various HVAC components such as split systems, package units, and chillers.
  • Conducting preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to enhance durability and efficiency.
  • Responding to urgent calls for HVAC system failures and resolving issues swiftly.
  • Providing technical assistance and support to colleagues and clients.
  • Ensuring adherence to safety standards and protocols during all tasks.
  • Documenting service and installation activities through forms, reports, logs, and records.
  • Maintaining positive customer relationships by addressing concerns, answering inquiries, and offering HVAC system usage and maintenance guidance.

Qualifications:
To excel in this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC service and repair.
  • Valid EPA certification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to use smart devices.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Thorough understanding of HVAC systems, including the capability to diagnose and repair issues.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot split systems, package units, and chillers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to manage the job's demands, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
