Key Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Commercial HVAC Service Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting routine inspections of HVAC systems to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Diagnosing system issues and performing necessary repairs or replacements efficiently.
  • Troubleshooting various HVAC components, including split systems, package units, and chillers.
  • Executing preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to enhance durability and efficiency.
  • Responding to urgent calls for HVAC system failures and resolving issues promptly.
  • Providing technical assistance and support to team members and clients.
  • Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and procedures during all operations.
  • Documenting service and installation activities through forms, reports, logs, and records.
  • Maintaining positive customer relationships by addressing concerns, answering questions, and offering HVAC system usage and maintenance advice.

Qualifications:
To excel in this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC service and repair.
  • Valid EPA certification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to utilize smart devices.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Thorough understanding of HVAC systems, including the ability to diagnose and repair malfunctions.
  • Strong analytical skills and the capability to troubleshoot split systems, package units, and chillers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding customer service abilities.
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to manage the demands of the job, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
