Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and implementing curriculum directly connected to the needs and interests of the children.
- Keep children safe and healthy through proper supervision and authentic interaction.
- Assist in creating exciting and enriched environments connected to curriculum and quality learning experiences.
- Communicate regularly with parents to support, guide, and share in their child's development.
- Work collaboratively with other staff by practicing workplace values, flexibility, and being a team player.
Requirements
- 12 or more college semester credits in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience working with children aged 4-12 years old in an after-school enrichment program.
- CPR and First Aid Certified.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs. chest high and pass a physical exam.
