Quik Travel Staffing is seeking a skilled Dialysis Travel Patient Care Technician to provide high-quality patient care in an acute setting.
Job SummaryThe Dialysis Travel Patient Care Technician will work under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse to provide dialysis therapy for patients. This is a 13-week travel assignment that requires a high level of expertise and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Setup and operation of hemodialysis machines
- Welcoming patients and reporting any concerns to the nurse supervisor
- Monitoring patient response to dialysis and reporting any unusual findings or issues to the nurse supervisor
- Discontinuing dialysis treatment according to clinic procedures and evaluating patients prior to discharge
- Documentation of all information related to patient treatment
- Travel and housing provided or reimbursed
