Dialysis Nurse Specialist

TLC NURSING SERVICES is seeking a skilled Dialysis Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Dialysis RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced dialysis environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and evaluate patient condition, including vital signs, fluid and electrolyte balance, and access site for dialysis.
- Administer medications, including antibiotics and other treatments, as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients during dialysis and assess for adverse reactions, making necessary interventions to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team, including physicians, dietitians, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care for patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
- Perform dialysis machine setup, operation, and maintenance, as well as quality control checks and equipment troubleshooting.
- Active license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in dialysis nursing or critical care nursing.
- Knowledge of dialysis principles, procedures, and equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
This is a contracted travel position, and the specific duties and requirements may vary depending on the employer and the state in which the nurse is practicing.
