  • Treatment Implementation: Implement treatment plans under the supervision of Speech-Language Pathologists, ensuring that students receive evidence-based interventions to improve their communication skills.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to enhance communication skills in students and promote a supportive learning environment.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress, including assessment results, treatment plans, and progress monitoring data.

Requirements:

  • Education: Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or a related field.
  • Licensure: Valid North Carolina SLPA license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a school-based environment is preferred, but not required.
