The Nexus Recovery Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor to provide essential support to women and children in a full-time capacity.

The ideal candidate must possess an active clinical license in Texas, specifically LPC-A and/or LCDC. This role involves managing a diverse client caseload, conducting both individual and group therapy sessions, and maintaining thorough documentation of client progress and treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct: Comprehensive orientation sessions for new clients.
  2. Develop: Detailed psychosocial histories and tailored treatment plans within designated timeframes.
  3. Maintain: Client files in compliance with state and federal standards.
  4. Facilitate: Engaging individual, family, and group therapy sessions, including educational components on substance use.
  5. Participate: Actively in treatment team consultations to achieve client objectives.
  6. Stay Informed: Keep updated with community resources and support services.
  7. Complete: All necessary documentation related to client services and progress.
  8. Supervise: Client medication self-administration and perform necessary assessments.
  9. Attend: Regular staff meetings to discuss program developments and client care.
  10. Act: As a liaison between clients and external psychiatric services.
