Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing services to residents, including direct care, assessments, and facilitating healthcare services.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care teams to provide information about residents' overall physical condition, abilities, and behavioral characteristics.
  • Ensure aseptic integrity of feeding, catheter, and respiratory tubes/devices while assisting residents with personal hygiene.
  • Monitor and record temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, nutritional intake/output, and alert professional staff to significant physical/behavioral changes/irregularities.
Requirements
  • Possession of a Delaware certification as a Nursing Assistant or eligibility for a Delaware certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with residents, families, and healthcare staff.
  • Basic knowledge of nursing principles and practices.
