Windows Server Infrastructure Specialist

Job RequirementsKey Responsibilities- Develop a solid understanding of ITIL and LEAN operating models to drive process efficiency.
- Gain expertise in TCP/IP, routing principles, firewall rules, DNS, and troubleshooting packet loss/latency to ensure network reliability.
- Understand Active Directory, SRV Records, Windows Authentication Process to secure network access.
- Analyze MS Vital Signs, System Performance Counters (CPU/Mem Utilization) to optimize system performance.
- Master PowerShell and execute commands remotely against one or more servers to streamline tasks.
- Create one-off PowerShell scripts to process requests on multiple servers efficiently.
- Work with SAN, NAS, MPIO, Veritas Volume Manager to ensure data storage and management.
- Analyze server event logs, memory dumps, and identify root causes to resolve issues.
- Support HP Hardware, Driver/Firmware Updates, Diagnostics to ensure hardware reliability.
- Support MS Windows 2008 – 2019 in a 1,000+ server environment to ensure seamless operations.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred, or equivalent work experience is required.
