Job Title: Plant Finance Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Finance Manager to join our team at Shearer's Snacks. As a key member of our Plant Leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the financial activities at the Plant, driving process enhancements and productivity improvements, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the financial activities at the Plant, including financial reporting, spend management, annual budgeting, variance investigation, financial modeling, and productivity forecasting.
  • Ensure that the plant team operates with a high level of fiscal integrity in accounting practices, financial reporting, and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with plant leadership to provide financial impact analysis and recommendations on cost savings, loss avoidance, and risk mitigation.
  • Support all plant initiatives for capital and non-capital projects by validating cost assumptions, productivity savings, and providing recommendations.
  • Contribute ideas and solutions to the Plant Leadership Team to improve long-term and short-term strategic initiatives and day-to-day operational productivity.
  • Team up with Commercial Finance to develop new product costing models, monitor, and assess productivity impact of new product startups at the plant.
  • Foster collaboration amongst teams and influence up, down, and across organization levels to improve cross-functional financial acumen and financially informed decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience in finance/accounting, analyzing cost reporting results and variances, identifying trends, recommending, and driving actions.
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of financial metrics in a manufacturing organization.
  • Ability to work with teams and lead decision-making processes in a team environment.
  • Strong relationship management skills and the ability to influence at various levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities and proficiency in PowerPoint and Word.
