As a Junior Cost Estimator, you will collaborate closely with experienced estimators and project managers to support the development of precise and competitive construction estimates. This role provides an excellent opportunity for professional growth and advancement within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in reviewing bid documents, including drawings, specifications, and project scope.
  • Conduct quantity take-offs and material pricing for designated trades.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors to collect and assess pricing information.
  • Support the preparation and submission of bid proposals.
  • Contribute to the continuous enhancement of estimating processes and practices.
  • Work alongside project teams to ensure accurate and timely estimating.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant coursework or experience in construction or related fields.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and construction specifications.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Capability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and estimating software is advantageous.
