About the Role

We're seeking a Mechanical Construction Estimating Manager to lead our estimating team in developing exceptional estimates and partnering with stakeholders to secure profitable work. This role requires strong leadership, estimating expertise, and a customer-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage construction estimating processes and timelines to meet company objectives.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and training to assigned estimating team members.
  • Analyze bid documents, align schedules, and successfully manage a team's process.
  • Source, contact, and solicit bids while distributing support documents to subcontractors and vendors.
  • Estimate interim designs to track and confirm pricing.
  • Perform research to produce accurate, complete, and competitive pricing.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to define project scope, address deficiencies, and build relationships.
  • Prepare and present completed estimating packages to company executives and senior management.

Requirements

  • Seven or more years of relevant mechanical estimating experience with a concentration in multifamily, high-rise, and assisted-living projects.
  • Experience leading and developing teams.
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and efficient.
  • Able to provide a high level of customer service.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software (AutoBid preferred).
