Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Operations Intern to join our team for the Summer 2025 internship program. This intern will assist the Financial Shared Services team in various projects, focusing on process improvements within transactions. The Financial Shared Services functions include Cash Application, Collections, Procurement, and Accounts Payable.

This intern will be responsible for analyzing data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to enhance efficiency. A variety of projects will be assigned, and the intern will work closely with the Financial Shared Services team to achieve goals.

This position will be based at our Corporate Office and will start in May/June through August 2025.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct data analysis and identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Collaborate with the Financial Shared Services team to implement changes
  • Benchmark industry standards for Finance Shared Service organizations
  • Develop and document process flows with recommendations for improvement
  • Perform time studies and cost allocation
  • Utilize Excel pivot tables and build data files (Macro knowledge preferred)
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled and pursuing a related degree program in Accounting or Finance
  • Junior or Senior preferred
  • Ability to work full-time in the summer of 2025
  • Ability to manage and lead a project or perform a function with limited supervision
  • Systems proficiency (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Customer service skills
