Position Overview:

The Business/Data Analyst acts as a crucial intermediary between product stakeholders and development teams, facilitating the collection of requirement deliverables essential for product design. This is achieved through engaging interviews and collaborative workshops with subject matter experts and stakeholders. The analyst meticulously documents detailed requirements and produces high-level design documentation, including activity workflows, business data dictionaries, and data mapping documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with business partners to gather and document actionable requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers and subject matter experts to create and refine screen mockups.
  • Conduct data mapping from source to target tables, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of data uniqueness and its business applications.
  • Interface with development teams to ensure clarity and adherence to requirements.
  • Review quality assurance scripts as necessary.
  • Utilize SQL queries for data analysis as required.
  • Provide timely clarifications to developers regarding business requirements.
  • Oversee the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycle.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for requirements and delivery between Development and Product Owners.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis or Requirements documentation.
  • 3+ years of experience collaborating with clients or stakeholder groups to address issues and design solutions.
  • 2+ years in a data-intensive analytical environment.
  • Basic SQL skills; capable of creating and executing SQL scripts.
  • Familiarity with Risk and Compliance domains.
  • 1 year of experience in an Agile development setting.
  • Experience in User Acceptance Testing for at least two projects, including test script creation and defect validation.
  • Proficient in communicating business requirements to developers.
  • Ability to articulate analytical logic and express ideas clearly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience with documentation in Confluence Wiki.
  • Familiarity with JIRA for workflow management.
  • Strong written communication skills, with experience in writing Epics and Stories in an Agile environment, as well as High-Level and Low-Level Design documents.
  • Effective verbal communication skills; experience facilitating meetings with executives and technical personnel.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Informatica, Oracle, and APIs.
