About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our Design & Engineering group. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting existing environmental investigation and remediation projects in the New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Metropolitan New York areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute engineering tasks in support of key projects/programs, including Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, Remedial Designs, Remedial Actions, and post-remediation OM&M
  • Provide engineering support for the remediation of contaminated soils, sediments, surface water, and groundwater involving remedies such as excavation, capping, containment, in-situ and ex-situ treatment, and subsurface vapor mitigation
  • Coordinate the development and finalization of technical documents, including regulatory reports, work plans, remedial design plans and specifications, construction completion reports, permit applications, etc., pursuant to regulatory requirements (i.e., NJ ARRCS)
  • Provide project support with the development of scopes of work, planning, and implementation of routine tasks, including soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling efforts
  • Assist in the development of project execution strategies and interact with existing and prospective clients
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, Geoenvironmental, or Chemical Engineering and 7+ years of relevant experience. You should possess, eligibility, or interest in obtaining a PE license and/or LSRP. Additionally, you should have 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification and up-to-date 8-hour refresher. Strong working knowledge of NJDEP regulations, including ISRA, TRSR, and ARRCS, and technical guidance is a must. Familiarity with other local, State (e.g., PADEP, NYSDEC), and federal (USEPA) agencies/regulations is a plus.
