We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Trident Medical Center in Charleston, South Carolina. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care by managing the complete process of therapeutic care for an assigned group of patients in coordination with the physician and patient care team. This will involve assessing and evaluating the therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status of patients and participating in the development of individualized care plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evaluations and treatment interventions within the scope of practice established by law and professional code of ethics.
  • Assess and evaluate therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status and participate in the development of the total plan of care.
  • Provide purposeful and skilled therapeutic care at patient's home, using procedures and techniques to produce a change in condition/function consistent with the physician's plan of care.
  • Instruct patient/family/caregiver in the use of therapies, exercises, therapeutic appliances, and/or prosthetic devices to be used outside of therapy sessions.
  • Prioritize caseload, determine daily staffing needs and coordinate assignments/handoffs.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
  • Licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Bachelors Degree.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. A comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as retirement savings options and paid time off, is also offered.
