About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at SnapCare. As an Acute Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our patients while working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care & Daily Living Assistance:
    • Assist patients with daily tasks such as bathing, grooming, feeding, and movement, ensuring care is tailored to individual cultural, age, and developmental needs.
  • Vital Signs & Health Monitoring:
    • Conduct delegated tasks (e.g., recording vital signs, intake/output) and report findings to the licensed nurse.
  • Safety & Observation:
    • Monitor patient condition, ensure safety, provide 1:1 supervision when needed, and respond to emergencies.
  • Patient Rights & Communication:
    • Respect patient privacy and dignity, maintain confidentiality, and communicate effectively with patients and families.
  • Admissions & Discharges:
    • Assist with patient admissions and discharges, handling personal property as needed.
  • Resource Management:
    • Use supplies efficiently, handle hazardous waste properly, and maintain cleanliness.
  • Body Mechanics & Infection Control:
    • Use proper body mechanics to prevent injury and follow infection control protocols.
  • General Performance Standards:
    • Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and show respect and teamwork with patients, families, and staff.
  • Maintain reliability, punctuality, and professional appearance.
  • Participate in self-improvement and education, follow positive community image standards, and uphold work area cleanliness.
