EHS Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Environmental Health and Safety Manager to oversee EH&S initiatives and drive compliance excellence across our operations.

This critical role involves developing strategic plans, conducting compliance inspections, and maintaining EH&S records. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of building and construction principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to make timely and sound decisions.

The selected candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 10 years of relevant experience, including safety certifications such as OSHA. Strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to travel to active job sites are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement operational plans and strategies to ensure EH&S compliance and excellence.
• Conduct compliance inspections and provide corrective actions to remediate non-compliance.
• Maintain and track leading and lagging indicators, providing EHS statistics for reporting purposes.
• Stay current on all EH&S regulations, utilizing federal, state, and local requirements, industry standards, and governing regulations to guide teams.
• Incident management, including closeout, insurance claims, injury classification, OSHA recordkeeping, and distribution of corrective actions.
• Monitor and measure project performance of the Safety, Health, and Environmental Management System.
• Risk management, identifying potential risks and developing plans to mitigate them throughout the project life cycle.
