Our approach is centered around partnering with Medicare Advantage plans to fully cover primary care, allowing us to focus on keeping our patients healthy. We believe in a patient-centric model, where our physicians have a patient panel of 400 or less, and we collaborate with the best outcomes-oriented specialists and hospitals in each market.
The RoleWe're seeking a Community Outreach Specialist to join our team in Baltimore. As an outside healthcare sales representative, you'll be responsible for generating sales leads of potential Medicare eligible seniors, managing them through the pipeline, and nurturing relationships with senior citizens, local community partners, and contracted health plan agents.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing a productive sales plan to achieve new patient goals
- Planning and executing local community events to reach our target audience
- Generating leads through prospecting and building relationships with senior housing leaders, senior recreation centers, and local churches
- Educating potential patients on our services and delivering high-level sales and customer service
- Nurturing ongoing relationships with patients to ensure satisfaction with our services
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A minimum of 2 years outside sales experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Insurance brokers with Medicare and Medicare Advantage knowledge are preferred
- Experience working with and selling to the senior population is a plus
- Consultative selling skills, including building rapport and establishing trust
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- CRM experience, preferably with Salesforce
