Job Title: Senior Hydraulic Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hydraulic Engineer to join our FLAP division at Testek Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing hydraulic systems, holding fixtures, and hydraulic manifolds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop hydraulic systems from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with CMM and TO requirements.
  • Select and specify hydraulic components, including valves, pumps, transducers, filters, and fittings.
  • Size and select hydraulic tubing and hoses for optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with the hydraulic engineering team to support sales on hydraulic test stand proposals.
  • Work cross-functionally with Electrical, Mechanical, and Software Engineers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical and hydraulic devices.
  • Create and update Bills of Materials (BOM) accurately and efficiently.
  • Meet project milestones and budgets while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Mentor mid-level Hydraulic Engineers and oversee the accuracy of their work.
  • Assist with hydraulic commissioning of products and ensure smooth system operation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering required.
  • 10 years of experience in hydraulic design in a manufacturing environment.
  • Extensive experience in hydraulic circuit design, component selection, system testing, and evaluation.
  • Strong understanding of pressure drops, heat transfer, power requirements, time response, efficiency, reliability, and accuracy stack-ups.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
  • US citizenship or US green card holder required.
