Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Guest Service Representative to join our team at Marriott. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Check-In/Check-Out: Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, verifying guest identity, requesting payment, assigning rooms, and issuing room keys in accordance with property policies and procedures.
  • Telephone and Communication: Operate the telephone switchboard station, respond to and resolve guest requests, including wake-up call requests.
  • Reporting and Administration: Run daily reports, identify special requests, and check reports for accuracy. Review shift logs and document pertinent information in logbooks.
  • Cash Handling and Security: Process all payment types, count and secure bank, complete end-of-day activities, including posting charges to accounts, completing cashier and closing reports, running night audit backup, and rolling the date.
  • Customer Service: Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guest service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Related Work Experience: No related work experience required.
  • License or Certification: None required.
