L3Harris Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Lead Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Space and Airborne Systems group, you will be responsible for leading the electrical systems engineering efforts for our space vehicle programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the electrical systems engineering team to design, develop, and integrate electrical systems for space vehicles.
  • Develop and maintain electrical system designs, including power distribution, communication systems, and navigation systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical systems meet customer and mission requirements.
  • Coordinate and perform electrical integration activities, including power and link budgets, channelization, and grounding schemes.
  • Support the development of electrical system test plans and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 9 years of experience in electrical systems engineering, with a focus on space vehicle systems.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Experience with electrical integration of spacecraft busses, mission payloads, and communications payloads.
  • Experience with leading electrical engineering teams and managing electrical system designs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with digital engineering and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools.
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering processes and subsystems, including power, guidance, navigation, and control (GNC), timing, frequency, and ephemeris (TF&E), command and data handling (C&DH), telemetry, tracking, and command (TT&C).
  • Experience with writing technical documents and reports.
