Electrical Engineer - Healthcare Facilities

Olsson is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Facilities Engineering and Design team. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will provide high-level technical support and lead quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) activities that drive excellence in healthcare facilities design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and review of electrical systems for complex healthcare facilities projects.
  • Apply advanced electrical engineering concepts to address the unique challenges of healthcare environments.
  • Perform QA/QC and ensure that electrical designs meet project objectives and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct research to inform innovative design solutions that improve patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall project designs.
Requirements:
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • At least 8 years of electrical engineering experience with increasing responsibility, preferably in healthcare facilities design.
