Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director of Nursing to join our team at The Brookdale Hospital Medical Center. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to our nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a culture of excellence and professionalism.


Key Responsibilities

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:


  • Leadership and Strategic Planning: Provide strategic direction and oversight to the nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a culture of excellence and professionalism.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing department, including staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Clinical Practice and Patient Care: Collaborate with the Chief Nursing Officer and other nursing leaders to develop and implement clinical practice guidelines and standards of care.
  • Human Resource Development and Management: Recruit, develop, and manage a team of nursing staff, including providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:


  • Master's Degree in Nursing: A Master's degree in nursing is required.
  • Leadership Experience: A minimum of three years of nursing leadership experience is required.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities is essential.
