Associate Director

The Associate Director is responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and accrediting agencies' requirements to provide high-quality services to residents. This role assists the Program Director in the administration of residential mental health services, including personnel management, fiscal operations, and program operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Program Director in providing clinical services, including directing treatment services, overseeing service plans, and maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.
- Supervise staff, including establishing work schedules, managing time and attendance, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Ensure staff compliance with agency policies and procedures, including time and attendance, and recommend disciplinary action as needed.
- Assist in maintaining property accountability, including securing all property and equipment, and conducting regular inspections of vehicles and property.
- Provide quality assurance oversight, including ensuring internal program compliance with regulatory requirements, monitoring the quality of rehabilitative services, and participating in the development of Quality Assurance and Improvement plans.
- Assist in assuring fiscal control and accountability, including exercising control over budgets, recommending approval/disapproval of purchase orders, and monitoring census, entitlements, and collections.
- Assist in assuring resident and family/support network involvement, including educating staff on the benefits of resident and family/support network involvement, and developing activities that foster program-resident and family/support network cooperation.
- Assist in fostering community relations and integration, including promoting Mental Health and Managed Care programs in local communities, and developing relationships with community resources.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or other human services field.
- At least two years' experience working with individuals with serious mental illness.
- At least one year supervisory experience.
