Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Staten Island University Hospital. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality medical images to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnostic Imaging Procedures: Perform diagnostic radiography procedures utilizing established protocols and procedures without requiring constant supervision.
  • Collaboration with Physicians: Work with physicians to schedule interventional procedures and effectively communicate with patients to obtain important clinical information.
  • Image Quality: Regularly produce images of high quality according to prescribed protocols and procedures whenever possible.
  • Compliance and Adherence: Adhere to established company compliance, policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Procedure Variety: Perform a variety of procedures, including general radiographic, fluoroscopic, mammographic, and patient unit, ED, trauma, and operating room portables.
Requirements
  • Certificate or Associate Degree: Certificate program or associate degree in radiology technician.
  • Experience: One year of experience as a CT Tech in a facility, AHA BLS required.
