About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Driver Trainee to join our team at ABARTA Coca-Cola Beverages, LLC. As a Driver Trainee, you will assist our experienced drivers with route deliveries and merchandising of all products. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver products to customers on an assigned route, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Merchandise, display, and rotate products according to company standards, maintaining a high level of presentation and visual appeal.
  • Invoice and collect amounts due, settling accounts daily and ensuring accurate financial records.
  • Pick up company property and returns, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.

Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent, preferred.
  • Valid CDL Class A Permit required, with a driving record within company policy guidelines.
  • Experience delivering packaged goods within a local market area, including driving on local streets and navigating busy parking lots.
  • Demonstrated understanding of how to check a load for accuracy and stability.
  • 1-3 years of general work experience required, with 1+ years of commercial driving experience preferred.
  • Local delivery experience preferred, with prior grocery store and/or consumer products experience a plus.
  • Ability to operate a two- or four-wheel dolly, with familiarity with DOT regulations.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Must be able to repetitively lift, pull, and push 50+ pounds, reach above head height, stand, walk, kneel, bend, and reach.
  • Must be able to obtain CDL Class A license within 90 days.
